Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Our chapter is extremely passionate about our philanthropy - Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. In February 2015 and 2017, we were honored to accept the "Most Outstanding Philanthropy Event" Award for our province at NC Zeta Day. We have been recognized by International Office and the NCSU community for our successful philanthropic events. Each sister is dedicated and passionate about our philanthropy. Along with helping out at the Kay Yow Spring Football game, the NC Chocolate Festival, and various breast cancer awareness events around Raleigh, we hold our own annual events - the Crown Classic Golf Tournament, Pink Out Week, the Crown Classic Football Tournament, and "Princess/Pirate for a Day". In October of 2011 our chapter implemented our first Pink Out Week, and in November 2016 introduced the Crown Classic Football Tournament, both have been huge successes, and continue to be the highlights of our fall semester.

Some of the Pink Out Week events include:

In its first year, our Crown Classic Football Tournament raised over $7,000! Earning us one of our "Most Outstanding Philanthropy Event" Awards. The tournament occurs in the fall semester and is open to anyone who wishes to participate!

Our Crown Classic Golf Tournament takes place in the spring semester. In 2014, we raised $38,000 for the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, solely from the Golf Tournament! In addition to supporting our own philanthropic cause, Zeta Tau Alpha loves supporting other Greek organizations' events!

If you have any further questions regarding our philanthropy,
